2017 Second Qualifying competition

The Second Qualifying Rhythmic Gymnastics competition took place in Windhoek on 28 /29 July. 

 Seven clubs in Namibia took part in this competition. All in all around 250 gymnasts in different levels and age groups as from level 1 to 10 as well as High Performance HP 1 to Pre-Juniors and Senior. 
After the competition the gymnasts as from level 4 who received the qualifying mark of 11,5 either in the First or Second Qualifying competition, where selected into the Federation team who will participate at the South African Gym Games in Pretoria from 3 to 8 October this year.

Herewith results of OCEANVIEW RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS. We practice at The Dome Monday to Thursday from 2h00 to 5h00.

Gymnast Of the Month - October

  Congratulations to Charlotte Moore, Mimi Cannon and Daniel Bryant The Aspire Cup,  October 2016,  has been awarded  to  Charlotte Moore   f or  consistently working hard and being one of our most promising gymnasts. Jo is amazed she has never given it to her before!! The Frogmore Cup,  October 2016,  has been awarded  to Mimi Cannon for  showing a lot of promise, listening to her coaches and making improvements. She has impressed the Head Coach. The Yateley Cup,  October 2016,  has been awarded to  Daniel Bryant  for  working so hard every week.   He is a great example  to his group.

Gym Mark

The Club has been accepted by British Gymnastics to apply for GymMark . The Club has to meet specific criteria and complete a self-assessment form. This may take 12 months but we believe the club should work towards implementing the high standards involved. GymMark Clubs can apply for grants and development funding. More news will follow.
