SUMMER SHOW 16/07/16

 This is the term Aspire Gymnastics performs for all the families and friends. We are not fortunate enough to have any where suitable for parents etc to watch the gymnasts so it is especially nice to be able to put on a show of everything the children have been learning.

 Display is part of gymnastics, as is competition and the acquisition of skills. The competition season is mainly during the Autumn and Winter. Aspire rewards the skills through badges in the Spring. The Summer term is our Display term.

 Every member of the club from a our smallest 2-year-olds to the oldest teenagers are invited to take part in the Summer Show and will have the chance to perform in front of an audience. We are sure parents, grandparents and other relations as well as friends will enjoy seeing the children performing.

 For safety reasons, seats will be limited but there should be at least two spectators for every gymnast taking part. However entry is likely to be by ticket only.

 The coaches have already been thinking about the programme and all gymnasts will work on the show pieces during this term.

The coaches decided in Olympic year we should reflect that in the work. As the Olympics will take place in Brazil the theme is a combination of sports and Carnival.

 There will be some costume items needed, but think "Carnival". 

 Isabella, one of our young coaches has suggested Tie & Dye t-shirts, crop tops, shorts etc. She has prepared a fantastic flyer to help everyone.Tie & Dye is super fun and you don't even need new clothes to dye. Any light  colour T-shirt will work.  

Once we know who will be taking part in the show costume notes will be sent.

 We do need to know who can commit to the show on Saturday 16th July at 2.00pm.  You can order your tickets at the same time as confirming your child's intention to take part. Please let us know by 21st May.

 There is an entry fee/contribution to costumes etc of  £5.00 for each gymnast.(NOT FROGLETS)

With over 100 children attending gymnastics each week verbal messages get forgotten.

PLEASE use the form on the email sent, 02.05.16, to confirm that your child will take part in the show and to book tickets at £2.50 each. Children under 16 will not be charged but may have to sit on the floor!

 Please order your tickets by completing the slip attached to the email. If you cannot print the form write all the details on paper and send with the correct money or cheque (Aspire Gymnastics) by 21st May. We will continue to sell tickets after half term as long as some are available.
