Liberty Individual Apparatus Gymnastics Competition Farnborough Leisure Centre Sunday 8th December

We took took 38 gymnasts of all abilities from 5 year old novices to 12 year old intermediate gymnasts to this friendly local competition. They all competed on vault, trampette and floor.

We are thrilled that Aspire won 27 medals!  Lara Trott and Katie Cronin won medals on all three pieces in the age 9 intermediate group. Megan Humphrey, winning gold, joined them to make it an Aspire clean sweep on trampette.

Jade Batson won 3 medals in the 9 year old Novice competition

Once again the 10-11 year old Recreation group put in good performances winning 8 medals in the Novice competition.

Head coach, Jo Henden, was especially pleased for Nicole Beale, gold on Vault, because last year she missed all the medals coming 4th on each piece.

Jo said " I am most grateful to all the coaches who came to help. It makes so much difference when young gymnasts have their own coach with them at these events. Thanks also to Liberty Gymnastics for organising this friendly and popular event, once again."
