How should my hair look for gymnastics and competitions?

CONGRATULATIONS TO MIA,  KATIE AND AMELIA ON GAINING THEIR GRADE 14 AWARDS ON SUNDAY 17TH MARCH Over 60 gymnasts met at Portsmouth on Sunday in an  endeavour to gain a Grade 14 award in Women's Artistic Gymnastics. They had to perform on floor, vault, bars, beam and also do a Range & Conditioning routine. The judging is very strict but they passed. There are now 6 gymnasts in Aspire who have passed Grade 14. Heidi, Jessica and Lara achieved theirs in the past two years.

Hampshire Under 8's Conditioning League - Round 1 Five girls began this term's competitions with Round 1 of the Hampshire Under 8's Conditioning League held at Xcel in Horndean on March 9th. This week has set the baseline for the next four rounds which will continue until July when a winner will be announced. This year there are 10 teams from all parts of Hampshire. Our Round 1 Team - AMY BERESFORD, CAITLIN EMERY, MADDISON WIACEK,  RHIANNA SORRELL,  TIA HANBURY-HUGHES

Congratulations to our February Gymnasts of the Month Yateley Cup Maddie Alexander  for listening well to the coaches and always trying hard to do better. She has shown a massive improvement in her cartwheel recently. Her coaches were very impressed. Aspire Cup Gavin Black   for working very well. He has really  tried,especially on trampette. He takes in all the feedback we give him and really acts on it! He is very focused in gymnastic sessions. Frogmore Cup Zara Hunt  for  always trying her very best. She listens to feedback on ways to improve her technique and never gives up. She just keeps on trying no matter what she is asked to do.
