British Gymnastics has just informed Aspire Gymnastics at Frogmore that it have been awarded GymMark status and Sport England's Clubmark status.  This is a wonderful achievement for a club barely 2 years old! There will be a plaque presented to be displayed at the Centre. The award is valid for three years, in between w e will need to complete annual self-assessments. We will be displaying the two logos on our stationery. The parents and coaches who accepted positions on the committee and carried out various tasks have been invaluable in supporting the club in gaining this recognition.  Thank you to the parents and coaches who have attended training and gained qualifications necessary for the club to complete the modules.  Thank you to Mike Dear, at the Frogmore Leisure Centre, for his help in establishing the club.  The club will need to hold an AGM in the near future which we hope will be well supported by the members. Well done Paige

Paige has been coaching as a volunteer since the club began two years ago. She has just passed British Gymnastics Level one General Gymnastics coaching award. CONGRATULATIONS PAIGE. Jo said it was lovely being her Mentor because she really understand gymnastics. She has been doing it since she was 6 and still enjoys taking part. The Centre has agreed to pay her now she is qualified, we are very pleased for her.

Hampshire Under 8's Conditioning League Round 3

The team managed to score as many points in Round 3 as last year's team scored in Round 5 so they are making good progress. Keira and Mia tried to kick over from the bridge, the first time they have put it into a competition, but it needs a bit more work to score some points. The team still failed to score on leg lifts so they need to try and work with very straight legs! The top 5 scorers after Round 3 are Mia, Molly, Gemma, Sophie and Megan they will be hoping to stay there after Round 4 on 16th June  and then to be selected for the Final round on 14th July.
